Hi friends,
We’re so glad you’re here.We’re Val and Russ, and like many of you, our homeschooling and roadschooling journey didn’t start with a perfect plan. It started with questions, pivots, second-guessing, and a growing realization that our family needed something different than the traditional path.
Along the way, we learned something important:
Homeschooling can feel isolating, especially when you’re carrying decisions that matter deeply and don’t always have clear answers.That’s why we created this space.
The Parent Chat is meant to feel like pulling up a chair at the end of the day. No pressure to perform. No debates to win. Just real people sharing real experiences, lessons learned, and encouragement for the road ahead.
This is a place for:
Introductions and getting to know one another
Sharing wins, struggles, and in-between seasons
