Objective
The Blueprint you built by hand in Module 2 will always matter most, nothing replaces the season you spent learning to see. But a child who’s genuinely growing outgrows it, exactly the way Trailhead 3 already warned you they would. This lesson is where an AI assistant helps you keep it current instead of just filing it away.
Opening Story
Months have passed since Waypoint 2. Caleb’s Blueprint still says systems, things built wrong as his direction, still accurate as far as it goes, but it doesn’t have the sorting station he actually built, the conversation with his uncle, or the fact that he’s started asking how recycling routes get planned across an entire city, not just his own street. The paper Blueprint isn’t wrong. It’s just several months behind the kid it’s supposed to describe.
The Reframe
A Blueprint stops being a snapshot and becomes a living document the moment you’re willing to open it again, not to start over, to update what’s changed and keep what’s still true.
How This Works
Using the same grounded conversation from Lesson 20, share your original Blueprint alongside everything that’s happened since, Roadmap entries, recent Journal observations, and ask the assistant to help you see what’s evolved and what’s held steady, then propose an updated one-sentence description. Something like: “Here is my child’s existing Blueprint: [paste]. Here’s what I’ve observed since: [paste recent Journal entries and Roadmap updates]. What’s changed, what’s held steady, and what would you propose for an updated one-sentence description?”
Dana did this with Caleb’s Blueprint. What came back wasn’t a rewrite, most of it matched what she already knew, but it did put into words something she hadn’t quite named herself: the direction had narrowed since Lesson 10. Things built wrong was still true, but everything since, the sorting station, the mentor conversation, the city-wide question, pointed at something more specific: systems other people rely on without noticing, until the moment they stop working. That’s not a new kid. It’s the same kid, seen with several more months of evidence behind him.
Keep the original. Add the updated page behind it, not over it. That’s not a rule invented for this lesson, it’s the same instruction Home Education Revolution’s own Discovery Package gives for exactly this moment, the first Blueprint you build by hand will always matter more than any that follow it.

Update one child’s Blueprint using this season’s Roadmap and Journal entries. Keep the original. File the updated version behind it, not over it.
