Many new homeschool parents worry they’re doing too much or not enough.

Homeschooling is typically skill-based, not hour-based. Short, focused lessons often lead to better understanding than long school days.

Consistency matters more than duration, especially early on.

    A rough guide:

Ages 5–7: 1–2 hours of focused learning per day
    Ages 8–11: 2–3 hours
    Ages 12–14: 3–4 hours
Ages 15+: 4–5 hours (especially as they approach college prep)

What does your day look like right now?
